should i do one rep max

hey guys for the last few weeks i have been doing my one rep max,
now i have been on dbol only for 2 weeks now and here is what i want u guys opinions on
should i do one rep max, i do warm up sets and one set after my one rep max at a lighter weigth for reps just gives me a pschyological boost doing my one rep max
and also i usually do 80kg for one rep, but this week i did 2 reps
this week should i do or try one rep at 85kg, or try the 90kg?
i wanna try and reach one rep at 100kg by the end of my cycle and hold onto it, what do u guys think?

i cud be wrong but i think ur only supposed 2 go for one rep max once every six weeks?i never bother with it personally, coz when u do one rep bax bench u don't really feel it in the pec muscle,or at least i don't,so i always stick to what gives me the burn

It is ok to lift heavy once and a while to set your goal but to do singles wont make you strong. For strength I would do 5 sets of 5 reps.
You are not hitting the muscle in a way for it to grow. Plus you are setting yourself up for a injury. I would do the 1 rep at the end of your cycle. Either the week of or just after your cycle, maybe even the last day do chest and do a single.
I would use the weight that you normally do and see where you are today. If you are doing a 6 week cycle and have done singles for the last 2 weeks then you are not going to get the biggest bang for your buck. You kindof wasted 2 weeks. Either lift for strength or lift to get some muscle and you actually are not doing either. Do 5 sets of 5 for the next 3 weeks then week 4 last day of your cycle do a single. This is how I would do it.

I hear you MatracaBergFan
If you are at a sticking point you need to change your routine.
When you dont go up anymore you need to modify.
