Diet plan for half board holiday.....

Hi all,

Im off on holiday to crete on Sunday for two weeks, I know im not going to be able to lose any weight while im out there but I have some very important meetings the first week im back so I can't afford to put any weight on. Im looking for ideas or suggestions on an eating plan that I will be able to follow, I am going to keep very active, and make a real effort: Matt Fureys Combat Conditioning for 20 minutes each morning, loads of swimming, tennis ect and I will try to fit some running in also. I don't really drink much.

We are staying half board so that means buffet breakfasts and dinners, I won't have lunch. Im not really sure what to expect from the buffets, but I should imagine there will be meat and fish, salads, pasta dishes, bread, vegetables.

So what does anyone reckon? - should I try and go carb free? or maybe just fruit for breakfast and then whatever I want for dinner, or should I attempt to zone?

any ideas?

Hey Grid, I did i similar thing bout 3 years ago (corfu) and from my experience, carb free was fine week one, but into week two and i found most of the stuff you mentioned like swimming tennis and especially running were off the agenda, i just did,nt wanna do owt at all just lay about in the sun.
but i,d been carb free for a few months before i went too.
so i got the carb cravings in week two and just ate whatever was there, carbs or not,! and actually came back in a really good shape, i think it must have been similar to a pre show carb loading thing.
So IMO it all depends on what diet you,re on now, how quickly the carb free thing gets you down, and how much activity you realistically intend doing.

Either way, and whatever you deciede to do, just make sure you have a great time Bro.

Yep, carb free baby.
You will lose alot of water but if you do it right you will come back leaner.

Give it a try and just eat protein and fat for 2 weeks.
It wont hurt you one bit.
