Oats

How do you eat yours?

Does eating uncooked oats have any effect on the nutritional content?
Will uncooked oats have the same amount of cals as cooked oats?

It's just I prefer oats uncooked because its quicker.Anybody know?

they are fine uncooked

personally i never cook them, just blend those suckers up , i figure the content should stay the same.

I would try that only I left a fork in my blender and turned it on. Result- Tuna splattered walls. Worse than db's spunky walls after his girlfriend farts.

As chef recommended, soak them overnight in the milk, then blend them with some protein powder.

Soaking them first makes them liquidise, so no grittyness and they don't draw water into your bowel then slowing digestion further.
