Carbing down

Hey Gang

Right, Starting to bring my carbs down, to lean out completely for summer now.

Cycles over, most water is off and im @ 232lb`s.

How many carbs would you reccommend per day to cut up now for summer (10 weeks or so)

Im gonna be taking in around 300g protien and 30g fats, but really not 100% sure on the carb intake?

Try a gradual decrease mate. YOu will be abvle to gauge how your body reacts. If you feel your not loosing enough then drop it a bit more.

Yeah,

Thats cool Rob, but tbh I never really watched the carbs during bulking, Just made sure i got enough Kcals and Protien and let the carbs sort themselves out.

Im guessing around 150 - 200g Carbs a day at my weight / hight should be ample to cut down?

At that bodyweight....would aim a little higher to begin with....try 250 clean low GI carbs ed.
Very effective way would be to find what you need to maintain, then reduce by 50 grms a day till you hit 50grms ED. Hold at 50grms for 2-3days then back up again.

Also would crank the fats right up to 100grm and beyond(healthy fats of course)

That seems like an awful lot of fat to me, even when im bulking i try to stay around the 70g - 90g mark

Eating low fat does not equate to low bodyfat levels..

I know a good dozen guys on 100grm+ ED all i might add not as heavy as you,and they are all dropping b/f

Trick is to get them all from the right source, do you use any flax/efa oils?

I use 4,000 - 6,000mg Fish oils Every day Leanman.

Usually 2,000mg, 3 times a day.

I used to use flax, but havnet for a while

I use 12000 mg a day for me on the fish oils.

Paul, just pick carbs that are low in the GI and also you should take in your carbs early in the morning and after your workout.
Afternoon and evening you can switch to fats and protein.
You might see some good results with this.

By cutting out the white flower, white bread, white sugars, processed foods like chips, you will be well off.
Not only this but this will help if you have any kindof overproduction of yeast.

If you pick some apple pectin along with the fishoils and maybe some Red Rice Yeast you will lower your cholesterol alot.
After a cycle the cholesterol will be kindof high. The above will work wonders on that.
