cutting for hols

im off to malia in greece on 12th aug - i really want to shead bf and cut up before i go. how many weeks before i go do you suggest i start to do extra cardio and lower my carb intake? would 8 weeks before be ok?

8 weeks should be ok.
5 weeks on Atkins should be ok too.
Could lose easily 12 lbs in 3 weeks on Atkins.

Depends where you're starting from If you're 12% right now, you won't need long. If you're 22%, it's a different story.

I would say personally allow 0.25%/week bodyfat loss (double that if you're taking fat burners and/or steroids). The people who cut up REALLY SLOWLY are the people who preserve most lean mass, sticking to the diet the longest and end up looking the best.
