Talking How to Improve my Diet

My diet is as outlined below, I should mention that I train 4 times a week, and on the whole this is at 6.30am before I go to work and have breakfast, all comments and advice appreciated, cheers UB

8.30am: Porridge (made from water) with a soy protein drink

10.30 am: either a ham or chicken sandwich

1.00pm: rice, tuna and peas or pasta tuna and peas

4.00pm: rice, tuna and peas or pasta tuna and peas (I'm make 2 lots the night before..every bloody night......lol)

7.00:I have my largest meal of the day, as prepared by my good wife, this can be quite varied, but is always healthy and will consist of a large amount of chicken/fish or steak etc

10.00: another soy protein drink before bed

I should also add that I am allergic to milk/cheese/yoghurt etc but I'm ok with eggs

Cheers UB

Is there a particular reason why you're opting for a Soy protein drink as opposed to any other?

Aye, cause I seem to be allergic to the others (i.e containing whey etc)

hi mate after your post on the AAS forum concerning your plateu i can now see why that is try this diet..

8.30am: 75g Porridge (made from water) + handfull of raisins
6 egg whits 2 yolks
10.30 am: 2x chicken sandwich's (use brown/wholemeal/granary bread)

1.00pm: 200g basmati rice, 1 tin tuna and peas you can put some extra light mayo in there
4.00pm: 200g basmati rice, 1 tin tuna and peas you can put some extra light mayo in there

7.00:chicken/fish or steak plus Veg

10.00: if you can have Cottage cheese then have a small tub of this but if not have a 6 egg white 2 yolk omelatte.

Soy protein has a negative effect on Test levels this again will effect your training..if you are looking for bulk and although they are not a great substitute for food you can try and get some MRP bars this will help you get the protein in you need...

Not sure, would have to check where it is derived from, if it's from cheese/milk etc no chance, was also going to ask about the 6 eggs in the morning, is it ok to hard boil them?? I was not sure if the boiling process would reduce the protein in them. If not, how do you lads go about eating 6 eggs in the morning? lol..excuse my ignorance

Just read up on casein, it comes from milk bugger!

Cheers again Pscarb, appreciated, I'll bump up the eggs and drop the soy protein, I've also got some Twinlab "Amino Fuel Anabolic Liquid" which I've used in the past which I could re introduce.
