Nuts

Sorry to keep bugging you all. Just wondering if anyone can tell me the best nuts to snack on throughout the day as a source of protein.
I want some that aren't really bland and boring (like just monkey nuts) but also a nut that is high in protein with minimal fat.

Almonds probably are the best nut in my opinion.
Macadamia nuts are the highest in fats.
Peanuts are probably the cheapest but highest in food allergies.

Almonds first, then maybe wallnuts.

But peanuts are half fat and the other half is protein and carbs with just a little more protein than carbs.

So with that said, nuts should be to up your dietary fats and not protein.
Much better sources of protein are eggs, meat, fish, chicken, shakes (my least fav).

Nuts contain a lot of fat regardless of which type you go for. Remember though they are very good fats so if you are restricting calories drop the high glycaemic carbs and keep the fat!
