Easy way to work out Body Fat %

Hi all,

We get a lot of questions about how body fat is determined and I think most of us use visual guides :confused:

I found a website with a fairly accurate method, it compared well against readings I have been getting from my calipers and BIA. Just remember the calculations this will be based on will use a lot of assumptions, be doubly indirect and be based on a population of sedentary caucasians :lift:

How about you post your BF % when you work it out! If we all used the same method it would be better for comparisons

As with most of these calculators I'll bet it will give a higher BF% than it really is.

I must be using it wrong, im 5.7 and weigh 200lbs it makes me 125%bf mmmmmmmm I DONT THINK SO lol and as for those scales with the bf moniter DONT BOTHER i have normall scales and then purchased a set of digital with the bf monitor and the digital ones add 5-8lbs on my weight and adds to my bf THEY ARE RUBBISH. yes i did check the old scales are accurate with someone elses so i know they work.

actually it was supposed to be reversed

9g protein
7g carbs
1.5g of added fat (aka 3g total including what is in the meat per block)

7%? doesnt sound right to me, my gut is 32" right now, so id have thought it would be nearer 13-15 BF
