My cutting diet

I purchased the book that everyone is talking about but found that alot of things included i did not like so i have modified it to siute me.If you do not use this book then you probally wont understand the methods of the diet below. Just wondered if you have any comments on this version. I think that their is so many different varieties of food recepes in this book to stop you getting board with the same thing day in day out but as i say i dont like tuna and salmon ect so came up with this.

Question is will i loose weight on this plan and am i getting the nutrients i need.

BASIC DAYS INTAKE

Meal 1 1/4 cup oats and whey & multi vitamin

Meal 2 1/4 cup oats and whey

Meal 3 2oz of meat (chicken, pork or beef)
1 1/3oz of broccali
4oz of potatoes or ( 1 1/2 oz of rice or pasta)
500ml diet coke

JUST ONE THING, IF ANY OF YOU ARE ON LEVEL 2 OF THE CUTTING CYCLE THEN IS EACH OF THE FOUR MAIN MEALS ONLY AROUND 5-6 BIG SPOON FULLS WORTH OF FOOD AS THIS SEEMS SMALL TO ME

Meal 4 as above with 1 oz dark choclate instead of diet coke

TRAINING & THEN PROTEIN SHAKE

Meal 5 as meal 3

Meal 6 as above

BASICS.............................THIS TOTALS UP TO THE FOLLOWING ON A DAILY BASIS

8oz meat
4oz broccali
4oz potatoes or 1 1/2 oz of rice or pasta

I also use the seasoning that is given in this book.

Weighed in on friday using the above eating plan and as the chef x book says, i did loose 2lbs so i am happy but to eat well all week and train hard but also add cardio which i never used to do, to loose 2lbs is a bit dissapointing to be truthfull. I could go to the toilet in a minute and loose 4lbs just like that lol. As i asked above what should i realistically get my bf down to before using a bulk cycle.....

My opinion is 12% or lower. Any higher, and you run the risk of just getting fat. The leaner you are, the more muscle you put on. The fatter you are, the higher percentage of fat gets added. So if you started at 10% bodyfat, 90% of your kept gains may be lean mass. But if you started at 20% bodyfat, only 50% of your kept gains may be lean mass (the rest being fat).

You should only be losing 1-2lbs per week maximum when dieting. Any more and you're likely losing lean mass too. It IS a very slow process unfortunately, but it didn't go on overnight.

Well, clean and consistent diet is the quickest way to lose fat.

As for drugs, clen and eca work well. T3 works well too, in conjuction with anabolics. So does DNP. But all of these should only be used for fine tuning (i.e. when you're already at 12% or lower and want to get REALLY ripped). Some of these (dnp) have horrific sides.

I would say the latter - it will be helping a little, but it's not worth the risk in my opinion to running it if you're already quite high bodyfat.

I made the mistake of trying to run it when I was in the 18-20% bodyfat range, and didn't get any results. I then tried running it again when I was at around 11-12%, and the different was pretty clear.

IMO anyone should be able to get to 12% bodyfat with clean diet alone. It's only below that point that you need to start taking drugs to preserve muscle and/or burn fat.

First of all the book can be purchased right here: http://www.regimenx.com/

Tyson, if you are loseing 2 lbs a week then this is good. I dont know why you would feel frusterated with those losses. Just think in 10 weeks, this is 20 lbs of mostly bodyfat. That is huge, that took longer to add the fat than take it off. Just be patient bro.

Just weight yourself once a week the same time the same day and use this as your guage. If you weigh your self in the morning you will be lighter than in the afternoon.

Keep the Ice Water intake up too.

Dont worry, you are doing just fine and are worrying about nothing.

I was on a diet very similar to yours and will probably start it shortly and when I notice the weight come off it just kept going. I had to periodically add food to slow down the weight loss.

Bro, you are not going backwards!

Just the fact that you are here on this board asking the questions means that you are going forewards.

You are older and your metabolism has slowed down, Im 45 and its slower than you for sure.

You bought ChefX's book and the things in there you will just have to follow and trust that they will work.

You wont see gains or losses overnight.
Your losses are really good and nothing to take lightly.

I was 37 when I decided to get into the best shape of my life with some hurtles but it is most do able for sure.
Just relax.
I appreciate your vigor and compassion to do what you want and you will get there I promise you if you have patience.

This game is lost by quitters and won by doers.

You are doing just fine believe me. You will look at this in the future and will laugh.
Just have patience. You will be giving advice about diets before you know it.

Just sit back and enjoy the ride.
Rome was not built in a day and neither was Arnold;)

Bro I am 32, started Diatia a few weeks back (massive change in diet) and haven't had many problems with it, so your age is no reason for you to struggle with this.

AS for training, 20 somethings tend to have higher test levels, but not by much, there certainly isnt any other reason physiologically why you couldn't gain as well now as you did then, its all psychological. (unless you are injured)

If your getting frustrated, you wanna get on, take the plunge do what you know you need to do, your plenty young enough to achieve everything you want and more, you have all the information you need, you just gotta put it into practise now.

Every success to you mate
