The reason being that your body will have diverted a lot of blood to the gut for digestion instead of to your muscles. Personally I drink Maximuscle Viper before a workout, it has carbs and lots of caffiene I put some Glutamine in it too and will add creatine also post cycle.HTH SD

| UK-Muscle Male Animal | Teriyaki chicken thigh, 90 minutes before workout and directly after a workout also. Hey its lunch truck food. But the ladies on the truck, hook me up. $3 of chicken for 3 meals. You dont even need teeth to eat it. Yummy. I try to load on water 1 hour before I eat that meal.
