calories???

does it make sense to eat more on days you workout then on days when you dont?

I usually eat 3110cals, and since I want to gain weight im going to throw it up to 3500..

But i was jw since I workout 3 days aweek now(coming off injury), If i should only eat 3500cals on days when I workout or do cardio. Then on the rest just eat 3110?

Good question.

I do. But only because on workout days I wake up 2 hours earlier, and I take in a large amount of calories PWO.

If I were you, I'd slowly up calories on every day. Say to 3300 to start with, then go from there. You could always cycle your calories by cycling your carbs - that's effective especially if you're an endo.

before my injury i bulked with like 3700-3800. I also drank alot of beer and partied all the time and I gained a noticable 20lbs within a month. I was also training 5days aweek. After being dissatisfied with the gut i was growing, i cut it back down to 3110 and lost like 3lbs, but somehow looked alot leaner....


So i was thinking, maybe eat 3110 cals on nonworkout days, then 3500 on workout days? Or would it work best eating 3500 through out the week?

20lb in one month is unhealthy weight gain.
consistent food intake is key. 3500 would be better every day, if thats decent nutrition you wont gain 20lb in a month and you wont put a beer belly on.

keep kcals the same but have a large carb and protein drink as an extra post workout

that drink will add 6-800kcals or so
