| cookie monster | help plz what it is my mom wants to lose weight and she cant she has tried every thing!!!!!! weight whachers, atkins even slimming tabs!!!!! she works around 50 hrs a week and walks every where. about a mile and a half to work thats with out the res of the day!!!! she hardly eats food and yet she still can lose weight (i h8 it when she dont eat) and im not sure how many hours of sllep she gets!!!! id say about 6 - 7 hrs so if any 1 has any tip for he plz post them!!! as i want her to stop smoking and she wont cos shes afraid of the weight she will put on ![]()

Hmmm 6 small meals a day, up the water. Have her try some cologen just before bed with some water (not alot). She might be hypothyroid, hyperinsulinemia. Have her get a checkup first before we decide why she cant lose weight without eating. She might have dieted so much that she is way below her maintenance and her metabolism has kindof slowed down. This can be as much as 35% slower. I bet (like my GF) she only eats one meal a day right? If so then we might have found out why. Ask her how many meals a day she eats and when she eats these meals. Ask her what her favorite food is. Have her go to the doctor, she might be hypothyroid. Just check it out.

| UK-Muscle Male Animal | I bet she dosnt eat breakfast. If you dont eat breakfast you will gain weight for most people. Also make sure she gets enough calcium. Proven fact. Have her eat 5 meals a day and make sure she eats a protein, carb and fat with each meal. Actually make sure she eats a protein with each meal. Not a drink eather. Something that she has to chew on. Ever notice how much energy a nice big steak is to chew up?
