Fruit???

Right as some of you are aware i am currently dieting and wondered what fruits it is ok to eat? I have lately been eating alot of apples again but being quite sweet thought they maybe bad for me.

I stay clear of bananas as i alreay know these are bad.

Apples are worse than bananas mate!

I have a banana first thing then maybe some strawberries around lunchtime.

Try strawberries, blueberries, blackberries.

rob, everyone at my gym who diets down for competition cuts out fruit and milk completely from their diet. If you are cutting up there should be no need for them at all if your eating your veggies. but since you ask i think cherries are the lowest GI

once you cut out all sweet stuff the craving does go away a bit and you get used to it

Apples are good, high fiber, low gi, they also have pectin which helps for fat loss. So Apples, peaches, all berries, grapefruit, plums, tomatos. I also heard that if you must eat bananas then the less ripe the better. Green bananas are best

Apples are awesome. Apple pectin is great for you.

Apple pectin is a fiber that may be beneficial for cholesterol levels, atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries), diabetes, and may inhibit cancer metastases.

Apple pectin fiber aids in correcting constipation, and promotes digestive health by promoting a healthy intestinal flora.

Apples are a better choice of fruit than Bananas.
Banana's are in fact higher in the Glycemic Index than Apples. When dieting banana's should be avoided. Berrys are very low in the GI.

Im not sure Robdog, If my memory serves me correctly, cod liver might be high in vitamin A. Too much of this might be toxic.
I think Fish oils are lower in Vitamin A and wont be toxic in large amounts.
Ask Jimmy tho.
