Re: Wish to lose weight

nice one dude!

once you get happy with some cardio try some morning cardio, before breakfast, running on an empty tank helps to drop fat levels apparently

it makes sense though i mean the energy has to come from somewhere

Re: Wish to lose weight

Most important thing is to never give up, from experience & watching other people diet it seems once you've broken the diet once... you've broken it for good, so you go back to old habits.

If you break the diet on a Monday... diet starts again on a Tuesday... DO NOT let it beat you.

Learn what to eat & eat often don’t starve yourself & most importantly NEVER give up!!!

Even slow progress is still progress!

Re: Wish to lose weight

think of it this way - you didnt put all the weight on in a day so it certainly wont come off in a day either!
Also the quicker you try to lose the weight the more lean muscle you will lose, therefore undervaluing your gym sessions.
Stick to the diet your have listed and forgot about the supps for the moment, you need to learn about nutrition and the value of food before you substitute it with protein shakes etc. Then not only will your body benefit but you will also re-educate your mind in regards to food without diving down the quick fix route.

Re: Wish to lose weight

There's no such thing as a quick fix - otherwise we would all be winning the Universe! Think of each pound lost as a big step forward and carry on trying. The diet you posted looks pretty good if you can stick to it. Forget the diet shakes -usually full of things your body does not need!

Never eat anything that you can't pronounce the name of!

Good luck with your aims, the road is long, but there is lots of help here if you listen.

Re: Wish to lose weight

The first weight will come off quickly, but that will be water. You will need willpower to continue as you will stop seeing quick weight loss from then on. Also slowly losing the fat will help the skin to re-adjust and you will have less chance of having loose folds hanging down.
Keep us posted on progress, Oh yes. Don't keep weighing yourself; just do it say, at the most once a week.
