meat prices at local butcher
Intresting, decided to see if my local butcher was any good.

17.50 per kg for sirloin steak
7.49 per kg for chicken breast

Not to bad, supermarket was 18.50 for sirloin steak, so supriseingly the local butcher had the better deal!

As I have a bigger freezer Im thinking to get maby 5-7kg that would tide me over the month nicely, woohoo good steak on tap.

Amazing when you consider the price of suplements a box of weightgainer costs maby 30 quid, you could have almost 2kg of the best steak for that!

or 4kg of chicken breasts.

I had some last night for dinner and it was delicious.

going to have some for my lunch muhahahaha.

lol but my taste buds...

yea I usualy pick up the frying steak when its on special offer at the supermarket I will see if i can get a special deal of the butcher next time if i make a volume purchace.

The Chicken is expensive imo unless its free range so is the Sirloin but it all depends on the quality of the meat.

yea the beef had no fat on it, very tender. Dont know about the chicken as I havent tried it but looks tasty.

I buy all my meat from there, steaks (prime rump) are 2.25kg for £28

I get mince and gammon too, I spend about 65 quid and it lasts me 2ish weeks.

Great quality too.

Smith-Field Market (meat, fish and veg) in Openshaw Manchester, boneless chicken breast £18 for 5kg, very tasty around 7.5oz per breast

Large Eggs - £2.50 for 30.

Turkey Butt - around £20 for 5kg

not sure about steak and fish, it will be cheap though.

Their prices are a helluva lot cheaper, and its well fresh.
