Cooking Burgers

Im just wondering how you guys cook yours ?

I have been putting them in the frying pan but i havent been adding oil etc. Is this a bad way of cooking them ?

There also seems to be quiet a lot of fat on these burgers, although they are lean and from the butchers.

Should i continue to have 1 a day ?

Re: Cooking Burgers

I agree, if you are going to cook them at least get all the fat out! Yuck, the thought of all that bad fat in my body makes me feel ill. , George Foreman is fab. I make mine sometimes with turkey mince and a bit of onion and bind together with a bit of egg.

Re: Cooking Burgers

Grilled or broiled is the way to go... It gets the grease away from the burger.

I agree with this fellow though.

Re: Cooking Burgers

I got fed up with the George Forman and got a griddle pan. THe burgers I buy are Scottish beef, or venison burgers, all cheap and hardly any fat comes out!

I dont know my wife makes all the burgers, very tasty but I have noticed a disturbing amount of strays going missing recently. The chinese/indian resturants have had to goto the local animal recue place its got so bad.

Re: Cooking Burgers

Gym Rat's way is spot on IMO.

I put two little dishes under the George Foreman & they collect all the fat.

Yeah, turkey works well, lot leaner too. Try adding some chilli ginger soy and coriander for a spicy option.

So you mix all this up in a bowl, make burgers and george foreman them? Sounds easy and tastey.

What do you guys eat them with? I'd find it hard to enjoy a burger without a burger bun and ketchup!
