Do you ever get hungry?

I've sorted my diet out and am eating 6 small meals per day, but I sometimes get hungry between meals.
If I'm eating with the aim to bulk up, does this mean I'm not consuming enough calories or should I still get hungry from time to time? Every time I get hunger pains I imagine my body slowly eating away at my muscle because I'm actually burning more calories than I thought

Re: Do you ever get hungry?

I can post it up, but was going to wait until somebody said something along the lines of "you should never feel hungry, you must be doing something wrong".

Or hopefully "it's normal to feel hungry. Stop whining and get back in the gym"

Re: Do you ever get hungry?

It's alright saying 'well I eat 6 small meals a day and i'm still hungry' but without knowing your diet and stats it's hard to determine wether or not you are eating enough. Calculate how many calories a day you need to grow using this link http://www.uk-muscle.co.uk/food-diet...-beginers.html. (by jimmy) and then compare the total you need, to the total you are actually consuming.
Hope this helps......

Re: Do you ever get hungry?

You probably not having enough good fats with your meals or eating very light on the carbs. Try having a handful of nuts with your next meal. See if you hungry after that?

Re: Do you ever get hungry?

Ok, cheers lads. I'll re-calculate my calories and double check I'm eating enough. If so and I still feel hungry between meals then I suppose it's tough!
