Re: Peeling eggs

Your cooking them too long.

If you band them on a hard surface to crack then roll it, it will make the peeling easy.

8 mins for a good egg imo.

Re: Peeling eggs

Crack them while they're warm - works a treat.

Trust me, it works. I was cracking 14 a day at one point.

Re: Peeling eggs

or let them cool, crack the shell and peel them in a bow of water, shell comes off easy.

Re: Peeling eggs

Trust me on this one. Works a treat.

Whrn they've finished boiling, pour out boiling water then turn on the cold tap and let them sit in the pan under the running water for a few mins. Then leave some water in the pot, put the lit on and shake for 5 seconds. The shells fall right off, no need for peeling.

I googled "how to peel an egg" months ago and found this gem. Works a treat, i do it every morning.
