2 weeks out ..

starting tomorrow i am going to go zero carb for 2 days:

meal 1 - 200g turkey with broccoli
meal 2 - 200g turkey with broccoli
meal 3 - 200g turkey with broccoli
meal 4 - 200g turkey with broccoli
meal 5 - 200g turkey with broccoli
meal 6 - 200g turkey with broccoli

would it be beneficial to add in an extra protein based meal/shake to compensate for the lack of carbs? thanks

Re: 2 weeks out ..

Dont need to drop carbs but if you are hell bent on it throw in some fats and drop the protein a tocuh possibly although that is the square root of fcuk all calories

1400-1500 max?

at least another 300-500 calories from carbs and or fat

Re: 2 weeks out ..

cheers mate, i think im just starting to panic now as its 2 weeks tomorrow till my show.
i have been told by many people to just keep my diet the same for now but feel i still have an extra couple of pounds to shift. would you say i should keep fats in at this point or elimanate them? i usually use fish oils, natty peanut butter or extra virgin olive oil as my sources.

don't worry bout your diet keep it the same if its worked till now an if your worried that you need to lose a few pound up your cardio!! dropping your calories and carbs will only make you flat an weak, up your cardio an your metabolism should react and take off them few pounds!!

Re: 2 weeks out ..

Up calories from fat and carbs
make cardio very easy and split sessions up
2-3 sessions of 40 minutes per day

remember you will have a depletion phase at the start of the final week

what will you be depleting by then if you diet in that fashion now?
