![]() | How do you eat your eggs? I'm about to have my last meal of the day and am considering having eggs (even though i hate them). I've prefer to drink them to be honest as i don't like the taste of them. Can you do that? Do i mix them together before drinking or do you leave the yolk whole? Cheers, Ross |

I don't think I would ever drink them TBH...the thought just puts me off...I like them fried mostly but also scrambled, ommlet, over easy, sunny side up, hard boiled, soft boiled, quiche...add in spices if you like, a little garlic goes a long way

![]() ![]() | Re: How do you eat your eggs? I often have them scrambled over some dry toast and have some tomatos on the side with a dash of HP Brown sauce, yummy. Alternatively i have two big poached eggs done in brakfast bowls, 5 whites and one yolk in each done in the microwave. Be sure to pierce the yolk n give a little stir as they 'll explode. I love eggs!!!! Yeh you can drink them but you must heat/microwave them to kill all the bacteria. Be aware though that all the fat and cholestral is in the yolk, and the protein being the goodstuff is in the white, about 98% of the protein i think. However you must have some yolk to make the amino acid profile of the egg protein complete. For years i ate 20 eggs a day with 4 yolks and my cholestral levels have always been perfect. I also often put a few mixed in my porridge to thicken it and make a more complete meal. Just makes it a bit bland and thick but nothing a bit of fruit on top won,t sort or raisins in while cooking. Just a couple of ideas to enjoy.:lift: |
