Breaking Wind?

Hey Guys,

When I started bulking I found myself farting quite alot, but as of the last 6 weeks or so it has gone beyond a joke! The first few weeks I would laugh it off, but now it's getting on my nerves and i'm getting slated for it at home and at work! Is there anything I can take to stop the wind? lol.

get some decent digestive enzymes, masticate your food thoroughly and drink lots of water


I think you can also get charcoal tablets/caps to get rid of the smell

i have read that it is a result of an intolerance to certain carbs. it is different for everyone as to which carb it is....

try digestive enzymes, they work for some people. try swapping say rice for pasta, pasta for potatoes etc....

Good point! You can have food intolerance tests done too, you might already have an idea which foods dont agree with you but it could well be worth getting it done.

getting a decent pro biotic would be a good idea too

Dont worry, its the taboo subject of bulking. I fart all the time mate, just keep moving and look acuseingly at someone else and sniff (thats what i do).

i had this problem but i dump a yakult in my morning shake (cant stand the thing on its own evil little things) and it sorted it out for me, but everyone is different.

Farting is a sign that our not digesting your food as well as you should, lowering the carbs in your diet and upping the heathy fats by the same amount of calories will help slow the digestive transit and allow more food to be absorbed. I agree about the digestive enzymes.


Over a certain calorie level it's inevitable.
