Is there any harm in this ?

Trying to improve my diet bit by beat.

At 11 am - I was having a capri sun drink, crisp and a cereal bar. I have now started having two chicken pieces on a white barm, no butter. And water.

At 1 pm - I was having chips or wedges with a carpi sun drink. Now i have been having 4 pieces of chicken and water.

Imo, this is a good start. Does there seem no harm in having chicken everyday ?

Also at tea time i have been having either.
Sirloin or Rump Steak, Pork Steak, Cod/Haddock bernad matthews fish, or chicken fahjitas with the sauce and pitta bread.
Either one of them with chips which are less then 5% fat.

Im going to be adding in lean burgers and 90% pork sausage. Also boiling some potatoes, cutting them to wedges and cooking them in the oven.

Could anybody just clarify that this is going in the right direction ?

Re: Is there any harm in this ?

Yeh i do know all of this and rice would be good aswell. Thing is im really fussy and the food is really pricey.

I actually feel better now im doing this.

Also at 3-20pm, i will be having a fruit smoothie of - 1 banana, 6 strawberries and fresh orange juice. Is there anything else i should add to this ?

The only problem i have is something between tea and going to bed. Im going to be having a protein shake but was wondering, how bad are crackers and yoghurts ?

Ive eliminated crisp, biscuites and chocolate and fast foods. Will crackers and yoghurts/fromage frais be something that shouldnt be in my diet ?

Also, instead of 4 chicken pieces for dinner. Would maybe 3 chicken peices and baked beans be better ?
The smell of pasta makes me heive so thats a no no at the moment.

Re: Is there any harm in this ?

To be honest, im sure i have noticed a little bit of fat loss from the stomach area.

I tryed roast potatoes today at school and wouldnt mind them with chicken pieces at dinner.

Although they are probably fryed, will it be better to have them and 2 pieces of chicken, or just 4 pieces of chicken ?

The chicken is in breadcrumbs but tbh its better then fryed chips, wedges, cereal bars and crisps.

The more meat, the better in my opinion. It helps create thick slabs of muscle! It would be even better for you if you could eat non processed grub- but i know that can be pricey

Re: Is there any harm in this ?

Well im eating non processed things at tea time with the steak and chicken etc.

I have abs from eating junk food and have done for god knows how long, so improving my diet can only make things better.

Breakfast will soon be oats, banana and whey protein. I am getting a free sample sent to me to try it out.
This is a big improvement from biscuites and sometimes nothing.

bud, i was the same as you a few years ago... and yes improvements to the diet will have a great affect on you! sometimes you just need to be clever with your bucks and buy the right stuff. i ate junk food for years and still had a decent 6pac!

Re: Is there any harm in this ?

capri sun? ahh yes.. coca cola's sugar in a pouch.....

for the same calories you could eat a tin of tuna....

if you must have crapi sun then go for the 100% juice ones.. no added sugar, just lots of natural fructose..

http://www.capri-sun.co.uk/mums/prod...?group=pouches

after working at coke for 3 years you tend to look closely at all the stuff in the drinks...

Re: Is there any harm in this ?

Im currently drinking fresh orange in the morning, water whilst at school and blackcurrent juice at home which has something like .5g of sugar per 200ml.

Going to mix tea times up with oven chips, roast potatoes and chips made at home, ie straight from potatoes, boiled and then oven cooked.
