Whey is fairly quick digesting but the milk contains casein and the fat slows it down too. You could buy casein powder if you wanted but it's quite expensive. |

There's lots of it in cottage cheese, and very little fat. Stuff like steak is obviously going to be slow digesting too, but I couldn't eat steak just before bed myself, plus it's hassle, whereas a shake is made and necked in about 1 minute flat ![]() | |
