Oats in a shake

Apart from buying the myprotein ultrafine oats, what kind of kit do you need to grind oats down as fine yourself?

Re: Oats in a shake

Do you need them ultra fine for a particular reason?

I just use normal oats and add to water and then blend in a food blender. Although it depends whats you're after.

Re: Oats in a shake

I use Tesco instant oat cereal (like Ready Brek!). Seems OK to me.

Re: Oats in a shake

ASDA's cheap oats, protein powder, water & blend - jobs a goodun'.

It takes massive balls to drink a shake with oats in it.

I prefer to actually eat my oats with milk in a bowl now & have the shake seperately - fills me up more.

Well, it's too much of a chore to munch on them whole, in a big stody bowl of it, but I could manage it if they were drinkable in a shake.

I'm gonna get some of the MP stuff to try, but obviously they'll be cheaper if you can do it yourself.

A hand blitzer with a coffee grinder attachment - what's one of them mate?
