the kebab - the only good take out food?

not the dogs meat oil drum rotating in the window but the shish they cook from 'real chicken'? If you think about it, it's chicken, salad and a pita bread. Protein & simple carbs, good eh? Anyone disagree? Better than processed KFC, MC, etc etc. It's the only think i can think of that is a treat, tastes good and is good nutritionally.

Re: the kebab - the only good take out food?

I get a special mixed Kebab sometimes, chunks of chicken and lamb, plus a bit of mystery meat, which at the place I use is actually not bad, although I only eat a mouthful or so of it, I am a big fan of this meal myself as an occasional treat.

If i am stuck for food while out and about, i usually opt for a double meat 12" subway sandwich.

Does the job for me.

I don't really, I might have one of those every other week, I do not crave sweet foods or anything like that.

If I go out to eat, I'd prefer the Baked Potato over the chips anyway given the choice.

Re: the kebab - the only good take out food?

don't you think myprotein should offer a kebab customiser? Options could be chicken, lamb and 'mystery surprise'

Kebab is always a favourite, especially when those charcoals have been burning and you never get the bad fast food feeling after.

Re: the kebab - the only good take out food?

A takeawy near me does a really nice shish kebab, prolly about 2 breasts on it, the pitta is white bread but so what, its nice once a week or so, Im not really ultra lean but deffo not fat and it doesn't seem to hurt.

I have to specifically ask them not to plaster it with chilli sauce though
