Cheers mate, but I just do not like that kind of food, so it is not painful for me to eat well, which is handy.

i heard something about that...didn't that relate only to the processed chicken and packet food? I would have thought the chicken chunks on the skewers were real as you can see the flesh and how they've been cut

Re: the kebab - the only good take out food?

According to online inforamtion from several places a chicken kebab as you say may not be to bad.

400calories
30g protien
10g fat

HOWEVER it depends on the quality used as every shop buys different grade quality meat ready for cooking. Some use the cheapest they find. Others pride them selves on high end meat.

I had one this week.. what can i say! LOL

A chicken shish should be chicken breast, normally marinated in olive oil and lemon then char grilled, regardless of the quality of the meat, the macro ratios will be the same.

I would imagine that it contains more than 30g protein on average too, unless you get a child's one,

Re: the kebab - the only good take out food?

Thanks for those stats! That's some heafty price GSleigh...better taste dam good for that money!

Yes - agree with Nytol. Some places you can just taste the quality of the chicken so shop and ask around. I suppose this is like finding a good source to trust if you're looking to cycle.....
