How full do you be?

Ok guys ave been looking at loadsa diets posted on the site. The thing am not sure on is that when you guys eat, do you eat til you're full or not?

A BB once told me that eating to your full means that some of it will be stored as fat.

whats your opinions??

thanks

Re: How full do you be?

The idea is to eat smaller portions but more oftern. If you eat three meals a day they tend to be large in portion size, so in order to eat 6/7 times a day the portion size needs to be a little smaller. It depends on how scientfifc you want to be you could weight portions and count the macronutrients on every meals? or you could ensure they are well balanced.
You dont want to eat untill you are bloated put it that way. You need to be able to burn what you eat otherwise it will show on your figure, plus if you eat until you are full up you are going to struggle to want to eat again in three four hours time.

Re: How full do you be?

I have a larger meal at breakfast and PWO. The rest of the time I would best describe it as grazing ie about 400 cals every couple of hours just topping up. I don't ever feel full or bloated after a meal just satisfied.

yep summed it up right there... it takes 10-20mins for your brain to register that stomach is full after eating...so by taking your time and slowly eating...this helps to not overfeed!

I have heard bout the meal sizes should be smaller, but is it any harm if you can eat aout 6 big meals a day an not be bloated after each one??

Only cause i can eat quite big meals every 3 hours an im fine after each one.
If i go out to nando's i eat 1/2 chicken meal +1/4 chicken 2 corn on cob, rice an 2 pitta bread an im satisfied. an sometimes i have an omlette(4eggs)with mushroom an brocolli an few hours before.:hungry::hungry:

Everyone is different if you can eat 6 big meals a day burn all the excess cals then great. I was just trying to put the point accross of not over feeding and then not eating at regualar intervals. Grazing as aftershock put it
