![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | hello there, I am no expert, but you should eat breakfast a while longer before you train! but if you don't get up until late, and you train so soon after waking up, you should just have some carbs, toast, cereal etc, maybe a protein shake with simple carbs e.g Glucose for fast energy. Thats what Arnie says in his book any way! lol Go on lads shoot me down!!!!! lol |

![]() | Thanks for the advice guys, so for breakfast I should eat some of the york for carbs and maybe like an apple for a vegetable? So an hour is enough time from eating my breakfast to working out? and I read a post about eating patotoes as a simple carb, is that good for building muscle or is that a fatty food? |

Potato has no fat at all. 3 grams of protein (medium potato) 23 grams of carbs. It is not a simple carb but a carb that is higher in the glycemic index. Also cooking food can raise its GI. Eat all foods, proteins, fats, and carbs.
