Soup

Is there anywhere to buy a high inprotein, low carb/fat soup.
I absolutely love soup but can't have the known brands due to the sh*te in them.

I was thinking that maybe a protein shake manufacturer should make a hot drink/soup that we could take along with our diets.
I don't want any recipes as I do not have the time. Just wondering if it's possible to buy some in??

Re: Soup

The best i can think of is an organic lentil soup from Sainsbury's - low carb/fat and essentially salt.It don't taste too bad either! Maybe add a little something(egg whites?) to bump up the protein further.

Re: Soup

Pah.

Who the jeff wants soup?

You want a stew Rob.

Or make a stew and then wizz it up in the blender (and erm... it will become a soup...)

Re: Soup

I know dont want recipes mate, but i usually make a massive pot of chicken broth, leave it to cool and you can freeze some. Only takes about an hour to make

That way it's full of goodness and the chicken will boost the protein, you also know exactly whats in it too!

PMSL Trucking man love....

Get your missus to cook some stew and then blend it into a soup. Sorted.

Or just mix Beef Oxo and unflavoured whey protein with hot water....

Re: Soup

I'm on 3 oxo a night at the moment, but I do prefer soup :d and as oxo is low in everything apart from 2g of salt per cube it's ok, but not great....
oxo and whey sounds fcuking rank tbh....You try it and let me know what it's like mate....
