Question check these values please

will someone say if this is any good.
this is per meal per 100g provides



energy-kj 1740kj 505kj
-kcal 410kcal 120kcal
protien 31.0g 9.2g
carbohydrate 45.0g 13.1g
of which sugars 5.1g 1.5g
fat 12.og 3.4g
of which satutates 4.4g 1.3g
fibre 6.5g 1.9g
sodium 0.58g 0.17g
eqivalent as salt 1.4g 0.4g


its a roast beef dinner ready meal. 10 min in micro. its to cold to eat a tin of tuna or cold food in this weather. if its any good nuttrition wise i will get a turkey and other flavours, only £2 tesco.as part of my diet

im sorry it came out wrong but the figures to the right hand side are per 100g and the highest figure to the left is per meal sorry

I personally wouldn't go for processed foods either TBH unless you have to, due to the fact that most processed food are cheaply made with cheap ingredients and also without you knowing they contain a lot of salt which again is not good for your heart or you!

try having cooked foods if you can like a nice cooked chicken breast with rice or something along them lines or have your tuna with some wholemeal pasta as a meal and that will be hot!

Goto the recipe section on here see if you can get some good ideas!

can you suggest a high protien meal which is hot. i work outside but got access to a micro, could you tell it was a processed meal just by its values?

lol thats how i could tell, the only reason but apart from that it has got a fairly high salt content TBH!

Do you have time to prepare your food @ home to take to work with you?

i used to cook 2 spuds one for t the other fof my dinner the next day with tuna and warm the spud up,but youve prob heard this hundred times IVE HAD ENOUGH OF IT lol just looking for something diff. ive put up thread titled chicken it was ment to go on here:gun:

You might want to tray making yourself some sort of soup up if you want something thats going to be hot, make it with all your macro's in e.g veg,protein,complex carbs and have it as a meal with a wholemeal bread roll or something like that!
