Re: Muscle mass diet

you shouldn't be putting that much slop on with that diet tbh, id ditch the pasty though, its the one piece/meal thats letting your whole diet down.

Re: Muscle mass diet

yeah i would agree with five-o as the pasty contains things like hidden fats and other nasties that you really don't want in your diet, you could be having something way more nutritional!

I would also say try cutting the sakes out unless after a workout and have good sources of whole foods instead e.g chicken, turkey, eggs etc you know the stuff!

Meal 1 0720 Peanut butter on one slice of wholemeal bread and 60g of protein shake (maybe some more carbs here bud to fuel your training)

Train 0815

Meal 2 1000 60g protein mixed with oats (maybe some fast acting carbs instead to replace the glycogen in the muscles after training)

Meal 3 1200 Salad with tuna or chicken (add in some flax or EFA's here mate IMO)

Meal 4 1400 Pasty (wholefood meal perhaps, deffo not the pasty bud)

Meal 5 1700 60g of protein in a shake (again, have a fat source to slow digestion, if your taking whey then it will be absorbed ultra quick unless some fats are in there)

Meal 6 1900 Fish or meat with veg and potatoes (you could switch this meal with no'5 tbh, although theres not much wrong with the meal you've put down, a lot like shakes before bed, but thats not to say a whole food meal is not good)

Re: Muscle mass diet

Thanks for the help guys, the only reason that the pasty is in the diet is because i get a free pasty every wed, thurs and fri. It will take some will power to cut it out but if i want to take this seriously then maybe thats what i will have to.

I take it i can get these vitamins, fish oils,sesamin,ALA,WMS/CS at holland and barrett

Re: Muscle mass diet

yh m8 but IMO i wouldn't really use Holland and Barret's i don't like them, browse the net or go to another health shop to see your best bet would probably be off line as they will be cheaper off there m8!
