cheap,half decent chicken?

wheres the best place to buy cheap half decent chicken?
i 've been buying asda smartprice chicken breast,but its got worse resently its seems to be pumped full of water & salt.

its got a weird texture & tastes like s**t.

I get the tesco frozen 1kg bags, theyre just under a fiver. Get the healthy living ones, class a chicken and no added water. braw

THE LOCAL BUTCHERS! Does no one think to go there for meat anymore? I get 10 fresh breasts for about £13. Each breast between 200g - 250g. I guarentee its better than the muck you get in supermarkets.

Jimmy, ALL chicken has water added to it. Even Organic Free Range. Lets be honest here - cheap chicken WILL have water amongst other things pumped into it.

frozen 450grams bags of sliced chicken breast for £2 a bag,

can just be microwaved in 3 mins

Yeah I get them to sometimes just for convenience but it dose have added water, salt etc... I always make sure I have a bag in the freezer just in case im stuck and need a quick meal tho.

butchers or tesco jumbo bulk fresh chicken breasts...

i wish now i was still going to the poultry packers in queensferry... loads of cheap fresh chicken.
