![]() | Meringue for carb up?? I am following a timed carbs diet at the mo and getting good results, the problem is on my carb up day, I dont think I am getting enough carbs. I dont seem to be much fuller after my carb up day than on any other day. Would eating meringues be ok? The reason I ask is looking at the ingredients; egg whites & sugar, this on the face of it looks quite good for a carb up dont you think? Or would you stick to slower digesting carbs, eg oats etc Cheers Paul |

![]() | Re: Meringue for carb up?? I dont understand, WMS, I am lead to believe is digested something like 70% faster than dextrode, so how would that keep you fuller for longer. Wouldnt 'table' sugar be digested slower than WMS if the above is true. Thanks for the advice Paul |

WMS also replenishes muscle glycogen faster which is the whole point to high carb days along with raising the metabolism and leptin....forget table sugar mate....
