![]() | uncooked/cooked oats Hi, I was just wondering if there is any added benefit to cooking oats, (e.g. porridge) as opposed to just mixing a load, uncooked, with a protein shake? Does cooking the oats make them any better for you, in term of the nutrition you get from them? Thanks, Will. |

However, it does not take much to cook oats. I put boiling water on mine and they are perfect within about 10 minutes..
