![]() | Sweet Potatoes and dieting On a cutting diet I have seen it many times to include sweet potato as a source of carbs. Being sweet in nature wouldn't the sugars have an impact on your insulin levels and affect your livers ability to burn fat? I would have thought that white potato, brown rice, oats etc would be a wiser choice? Six ![]() |

Sweet Potatoes are low GI and actually a good food for diabetics because they help stabalize blood sugar levels and lower insulin resistance. They are rich in fibre and vitabins A, C and B6. |
