Can you recommend a good digestive aid product/s available in the UK ?

its holland&barrett they do some good stuff and most town centres have one!

Green chi tea mate, i have it afterevery meal, seems to of sorted out my bloated belly

In all seriousness, this is my favorite digestive enzyme formula:

Just check out the enzymes in there, it has some to break down fibers, some for carbs, starch, proteins, fats, milk.
This is my favorite product.

Next favorite would be TwinLab Super Enzyme Caps.

Udo's makes a digestive enyzme product but I have no idea how good it is.

Some of them will contain Ox Bile and also hydrochloric acid to aid in digestion, dont be afraid to read the labels.

Do you actually notice a difference with these caps? If so what?

If they speed digestion, allowing me to eat more that would be a good thing,

Nytol I notice far less bloating.
Digestive enzymes aid in the digestion of food, also so your enzyme pool wont be used as much for digesting food as it is for other things.
everything needs enzymes, most food now days is void of enzymes unless it is raw and fresh and uncooked.

Totally useful when bulking and that extra food needs a bit of help being broken down.

UDO's has a blend of digestive enzymes, i tried them once, but just look at the ingredients and that will really tell all.

You can buy hydrochloric acid tablets too.

Older people have less stomach acid and this is where thost tabs would help out, undigested food is not a good thing.

I take two with high protein meals and protein shakes made with milk as I don't digest these well. They prevent bloating as Hacks says and I noticed a big difference there as the bloating made me feel full all the time. Now I eat a more balanced diet I only have them with shakes as plant enzymes do the job naturally for me.

The other thing is dont drink water within 30 minutes of meals it dilutes the HCL slowing digestion.

Drinking beer before meals however increases digestion!
