   | Liver Detoxifying Smoothie! Just been to Asda (walmart) to pick up some fruit and veg, noticed they have PJ smoothies on offer at £2 per litre! Was doubly interested when I saw the Detox smoothie has added Milk thistle and Ginger. So if you believe in the Liver Detoxifying properties of Milk Thistle this could be a good opportunity to give it a go and in the process you get 2 of your 5 fruit a day in each serving and 100% RDA of vitamin C. Might still sound expensive but if you consider, a litre has 12 squeezed mandarins, 2 bananas, 2 apples, 80 grapes,1 dragonfruit and some juice and herbs, its not bad. I blended mine up with ice and added a scoop of Berry flavour Isolate, made a fantastic mid afternoon snack, healthy too. SD
