Looks good dude in general. Could use some veggies and more EFAs.

What are your stats and how much cals and protein are you taking in in total?

Hi Big, cheers mate. Im 5"9 around 175lbs. TBH I have not actually sat down and worked out the cals in that little lot, I will have to get that sorted and then I may have a better idea!

Ref the EFA's should I just have another couple of omega 3pills instead of the two!
And greens I hate with a passion so I am unsure how to get those down me mate!

I'd have a whole lot more than 3 pills dude! You need quite a lot of fats for ideal gains - and you want as much of that coming from good fats as possible. Fish oils are ideal and they're cheap - so downing a handful with each meal is sensible IMO.

Are all greens off? Even salad? Even greens in a stir-fry with your chicken? If you can't eat greens, make sure you're taking a couple of good multi-vits a day.

The bottle is lying to you dude!

I'd pop at least 2-3 with every other meal given that you're eating quite a few meals lol.

Remember that 1000mg is only 1g. So each pill contains 1g of fats.

I don't know your stats, but assuming you weigh 180lbs and are "pretty" lean and fairly active, you need about 2500 cals just to maintain.... if 30% of these calories come from fats, that's 83g of fats per day.

Each pill contains only 1g.

See where I'm coming from?

IMO you should be taking in all of those eggs whole for EFAs and nutrients too.

Good plan

Eggs, although they have a lot of dietary cholesterol in them, don't tend to increase your BODY's cholesterol.

Body cholesterol isn't affected as much by dietary cholestoral as used to be believed.

People on keto diets (e.g. atkins) have tended to find their internal cholesterol levels DROP, despite taking in a lot more cholesterol in their diet.

Obviously that's no excuse to eat buckets of lard each day as I doubt that will work lol. But 80g or so of fats from reasonably healthy sources (eggs, nuts, some butter, some meat, plenty of fish etc) is only going to make you more healthy, not less.

No problem dude. Remember to check your protein/cals to make sure they're about right... don't let your bodyweight change by more than about 1-2lbs/week.

Good luck and let us know how you get on

Yah, defo need some more good fats in your diet.

I dont think eggs are as bad as people make them out to be.
I eat alot of eggs and my cholesterol has dropped sinse last time I checked it.
The liver makes 80% of all the cholesterol in your diet.
Eggs will raise overall cholesterol but the ratio of good to bad wont change, so there is not that much risk there.

I would choose the fruit over the juice, like you drink orange juice, just eat an orange instead.

Also 3 of your meals/protein are in the form of powders, I prefere whole foods over shakes.

I think it is a good idea to eat proteins, fats, carbs all together.

Hey Scott,

So would you recommend this for a building or cutting diet?

And at what ratios.

KEVO

NO GREENS, so you don't eat any veg? No potatoes, no carrots, what?

How about fruit?

I am forming the opinion that some boys treat the BBing diet like a good excuse NOT to eat fruit and veg.

IMHO BBers need to eat MORE than your average person.

This is a typical Zone type macro diet.
The ratio is 40/30/30 carbs/protein/fats

This diet is super solid even for the athlete.
