![]() | Is the 1.4 grams per KG of bodyweight true? Is this a good guide to determine how much daily protein I need? As a beginner I am a skinny 62 kg which would mean I only need 90 grams of protein a day, and I only need to increase this daily intake as i get bigger. Is this correct? Or is the optimum ratio more like 1.7, I have read conflicting accounts online. Thanks |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | a good rule of thumb for gaining weight is to set the amount to 1.5-2g of protein per lb of bodyweight so for yourself you should be looking at.. 200g - 275g of protein per day 500g - 650g of carbs per day 50g - 75g of good fats per day
