Diet.

All the cardio in the world will do nothing without a good diet.

Post up your diet and lets see if we can modify that to aid in fat loss.
OK?

Cheers

well my diet is very bad to be honest and i mean very bad,

for breakfast i have to weetabix and crunchynut

for dinner i have two sausage rolls or maybe two pasties

for tea i have chippy/takeaway/roast dinner/pasta

and i also have lots of chocolate and things

but this might sound very bad but i am not as fat as this might make me look even though i need to shed quite a few pounds

Ok, lets do this.
Drop the cerals in the morning and eat oats. Put a scoop of whey to every 1/2 cup uncooked oats (add whey after it is all ready to eat), add a good fat.

You are going to have to drop the carbs and increase protein and fats.

Problem with meal one is you need a protein in there and less carbs and more fat. That meal has very little protein in it.

I am not sure what pasties are but I am guessing highly processed carbohydrates. This is a no no for dieting. Same with breakfast cerials is a no no too.
Eat some vegetables for dinner with a protein.
If you want to diet down, I don't want you eating any pasta, no breads and if you are going to have to have potato then make it a sweeto potato.

What you can have is berries, apples, vegetables preverably the green ones or even all green ones for that matter.
You can eat protein and you also can eat fiberous foods.

Id suggest you eat more meals that that or even add some snacks in there.
Eggs and bacon in the morning is fine too.

If you need to just drop like 10 lbs then just eat proteins and fats and no carbs for 3 weeks, you will lose just about 10 lbs.

When you come off this keto type diet then add carbs slowly.

Your diet does need improving but you will have to ditch those highly processed, refined foods if you want success.

All proteins dont have carbs, maybe with a slight exception of the egg.
If it runs, walks, swims or flyes, or crawls, eat it. That would be protein.

No, it depends on which carbs, how many carbs, the timing of the carbs, and what type food is taken in with the carbs.

So to answer your question actually NO!

Another thing to remember too, the more lean muscle you have the more the requirement for fuel.
The more lean muscle you have the more fat you can burn too.
Also sortof the leaner you are, the leaner you can get.
