Smile Macro's...... :)

Hey everyone,

This might sound silly but I'm trying to formulate my diet (properly) and would like to work out how much of each macro nutrient I should be consuming!!

I worked out the my calorie intake should be around 1750 (this includes a deficit of 500)

The thing is Im not sure how much protein I should be incorporating into my diet compared with carbs etc and I was wondering if someone might be able to help!

Re: Macro's...... :)

i have not read it but when I was dieting I was roughly intaking double (maybe more to be honest) protein than I was carbs. Thats not that helpful though! I was eating more calories than you (just) and my only real carb source each day was 6 slices of wholemeal bread. (2 for breakfast, 4 for lunch)

You don't wanna kill any macro, imo its all about balance.

Go for a 40p/30c/30f, Just partition your meals c+p/f+p and you can't go wrong.

Edit: with the partitioning only count starchy carbs like rice and oats etc. Fibrilous like veg are fine.
