First of all - big respect to this this site - it is really helpful and not full of **** like some of the other sites i have visited! I am a female 32 and am hoping to enter a figure comp next year - would like to do fitness but dont have the gymnastic background! ![]() My current diet is as follows: 7am breakfast - 6 egg whites - porridge 10am protein shake 12.30pm jacket potato - tuna 3.00pm protein shake 6.00 pm Salmon/chicken, rice broccoli i take glutamine, creatine and a multi vit - is there anything else i should be taking? Is my diet pretty balanced? too much? too little? I need to add some upper body muscle - i will post some pics soon and you can tell me what needs work !! Thanks Z x |

![]() ![]() | Re: check my diet please guys and gals! Hi Welcome to the site, I'm fairly new to this site and also find it a great source of information... IMO The diet looks pretty well balanced, all I would add is maybe leave 2 yokes with the 6 eggs, I know it has more calories but also more protein and some fat will be fine. I would add a banana with the 10am shake, More vegatable at 2:30, so maybe Broccoli or spinach... 3:00, I would try and take a food source if possible, maybe 2 small chicken breasts and maybe some fruit. 6:00pm fine The shake you normally have at 3:00 I would either have post workout within 20 mins if possible, a fast absorption whey protein with water... On a non training day maybe a cassien based protein drink before bed for a slow sustained release... 2 Litres of water throughout the day, also add red meat a few times a week... Anyway, That's just IMO, But there is loads of info on this site regarding diet, so just have a look around.... Best of luck... |

![]() The diet looks good as a base point although there is a few things i would Add/Change Meal 1: 6 egg whites + 3Yolks 75g Oats Meal 2: protein shake + Seeds/Nuts Meal 3: jacket potato + tuna Meal 4: protein shake + Seeds/Nuts Meal 5: Salmon/chicken, rice broccoli If i knew when you train i would be able to help you with your Pre and Post workout meals....

I usually train at around 2pm - 3 days a week I am a studio manager as well as a PT so the cardio i get from teaching classes Monday - legs and abs tuesday - cardio wednesday - chest and shoulders thursday - cardio friday - back , tris and bis. Somedays i cant train at 2pm so i then train in the evening - what is the best snack to have after the evening workout? ta ! Z x |

The last week or so i have waking up at 5am really hungry! Is it better to have another small meal before bed? is yes what is the best thing to have? |
