| The Lady Of The Manor | Vegetarian Diets Any good ideas for vegetarian diets for building muscle???? I have been racking my brain but am pretty useless!!!! Some suggestions would be good!!! Thanks guys. P.S. I am loving being back on here - I have missed you guys!!! x

I have seen a couple of veggie bodybuilders and they look pretty awesome I must admit!!!! Just didn't know if there were any on here - but I bet all you guys are hardcore meat eaters eh!!!!

Do you use Whey given that some of it isn't strictly veggie? Even then there is soya protein, pea protein etc... The only meat I eat on a regular basis is chicken and the odd steak - no reason you can't take any diet and amend it to use fish rather than chicken. Actually, white fish is a superb source of lean protein.

| Sexy Moderator | Re: Vegetarian Diets My dad is a veggie and at his peak he was over 22 stone. Fish would be the obvious option, nuts, soya and good old shakes. Beans, lentals, eggs, veg. TBH the only things i would miss if i were veggie would be Steak and Chicken. Tuna Omlettes are a sure winner, love em!

I hope Raikey has said only good things about me LOL!!!! Yeah Fish is always a good substitute indeed - will need to stick to eating a lot mor of that and tons of eggs and lentils etc God I will turn into a fish if Im not careful LOL!!!! Thanks for your suggetions though guys - appreciate it!!! x

| The Lady Of The Manor | Re: Vegetarian Diets I still eat eggs as Im not a Vegan, but eat fish occassionally! I just can't eat meat anymore - haven't done the past 2 years now! Just a personal choice of mine - animal related etc.

| Moderator | Re: Vegetarian Diets to be honest if u still eat fish&eggs your protien intake its very good! so there is not much you need to change just make sure each meal you are getting 30-35g of protien from either of those 2 sources u are laughin good to see u back!!
