![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | well if you stop eating junk and get to the gym then i will send you a signed picture of me now if that isn't motivation i don't know what is... ![]() seriously though Emma you need to stabilize your diet here is an idea for a diet but i am sure some one like Liz can help more.. Meal 1: 50g Oats 1 scoop protein powder Snack 1: Handful of seeds and nuts Meal 3: Tuna or Chicken salad 1 tbsp of olive oil: Snack 2: Handful of seeds and Nuts Meal 5: 1 chicken breast or 1 salmon fillet loads and loads of veg preferably green veg.. drink at least 2L of water per day the more the better. take a multi vit per day along with 1g of Vit C. on a Saturday eat what you want without going overboard to much this diet is a low carb high protein moderate fat diet this is a lot like the diet i placed my sister on 2yrs ago and she has dropped from a size 22 to a size 12 it does work but it is not easy and will require a lot of discipline so you have to ask yourself if you want the results or not.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I like the diet above a lot - brilliant start.... at the end of the day getting motivated at the start is hard there is no getting round it... after a couple of weeks you will (if you've stuck at it) see a difference, trust me;) ..... .... after that its not only the changes that keep you going but also the routine that you get into - you always find easier ways of getting your meals in or carrying water with you etc... Just go for it keep to it and you'll start enjoying seeing the changes and can't wait for the next week.... Remember though - don't try to lose more than 2lbs a week (the first week may see you lose more due to water levels adjusting) If you lose more than 2lbs increase your food ever so slightly - if you don't lose a pound decrease them a little OT: Where in Stafford you from?? |

There must be some kind of veg you like? You could easily steam some veg which could take about 10-20 mins to do. You will need to be patient too, you wont notice results instantly, that 2 stone you added didnt happen overnight and it wont disappear overnight either! hope this helps

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i find it easier to cook my food weekly when i find i have the time..... what i personally do is have 3 tupperware boxes... each with chicken in and each with a different sauce each box lasts me 2 days and i can just take some out microwave it and mix it with veg or brown rice or sweet potato - some sort of carb source that is low GI (goes thorugh the body slowly) and i add some olive oil to each meal the day i have no prepared food is the day i eat what i want (within reason) |

Paul's diet will work if you give it a chance. Apples are good, all berries are good, for vegetables, green beans, asparagus, broccloi, stuff like that is just fine.

![]() | Hi Emma, good snacks to eat in between meals would be sunflower seeds, pumpklin seeds, almonds or or brazil nuts. Also if you like carrots snack on them through the day too. Try introducin more fruit to your diet such as mango and kiwis. Kiwi is very high in vitamin c, more so than an orange and not as acidic. Have one meal a week where you eat what you want but its important that you like what your eating as you will resume back to the old routine due to boredom and lack of motivation. Its all about experimenting with foods and finding things you like. And is doesnt always have to take forever to cook either! Angel |

I see where you're coming from withe the sweet tooth Emma, my girlfriend had the same problem and she has a diet now that consists of fruit smoothies and a protein meal for lunch and after training. I tried to get her to follow a diet like what Paul outlined for ages but she doesn't like seeds, is allergic to nuts etc. She's found the diet that works for her and the smoothies curb her sweet tooth. However she does bust a gut in the gym 4 times a week as well. I think that by exercising a little bit and reducing those fast food meals you'll see the benefits straight away.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hi Emma, Also if your feeling consious about using the gym - follow the diet advice above and then try and go for a 20/30 min walk each day and build up the intensity or time. If your following your diet and doing CV 3+ times a week the weight will start shifting then after a month or so you may regain that confidence of hitting the gym once you see yourself changing. Good Luck - keep us all updated ! ![]() |

| Made in Liverpool | some good advice so far, consistency is the key. i see people busting there nuts in our gym once or twice a week and then here them moan about not seeing any results. there are three parts to a healthy life style, diet/gym/rest. i like the last of the three the best, i love my bed ![]() cleaning up your diet even slighty and a couple of work outs a week with some decent rest will get you on your way. try not run before you can walk. Lee
