| started using creatine Hey all, started training again at the start of the year and so far so good. I have had good gains and i like my routine. Im 20 years old, i thought i would try some creatine since if heard people get better gains if they use this. I bought Kre-alkalyn capsuals last week and started taking 2 capsuals a day. How will i know this is helping me and what are the bennifits of using them
Any help? |

| Re: started using creatine Very minimal real term 'gains' as such
slight increase in strength, maybe some extra reps, a little water retention and if used long enough small musclar gains MAY be attributed to its use in conjuction with many other factors
dont though expect fireworks and when you get more just buy a creapure monohydrate and save some cash

| Re: started using creatine Dont take this as a dig, just some advice.
You should really have a serious read up on things before you buy them. Creatine is reletavly harmless so I know theres not really much harm in just trying it. But the idea of putting something in your body, then asking what it doesn't really make much sense to me. Creatine helps water retention creating a better enviroment for muscle growth to occur. There are 2 types, creatine and creatine ethyl ester (CEE) Personally I wouldnt waste my money on normal creatine as CEE is masively more benificial ( but tastes like absilute ****e! )
Give it a few google searchs on both products and make your own mind up however. |

| Re: started using creatine I bought a kilo of CEE a few months back. However you can add 5 grams of it to any drink what so ever, even a pint of juice and the drink will still be disgusting! I tried it with about 5 different drinks and nothing would hide the taste so I swapped it for some normal creatine!
They might do it in capsules somewhere which will probably be more expensive.

| Re: started using creatine CEE is the same as normal creatine except it has an ester attached. This helps it absorb into the bloodstream much better and helps it be absorbed by the msucle. When you compare dosages of normal creatine compared to cee they and vastly different. This is because you have to overdose on normal creatine and it also becomes absorbed by fat cells aswell as muscle cells thus the "creatine bloat"
Both substances have the same effect on the body, one is just vastly more efficient.
I cant take cee in ANY drink! You can buy capping kits which are good, just a bit time consuming! |

you dont have to overdose on it... take the same amount mono creatine with some simple sugars that will help the uptake of it, CEE ester allows the uptake without the carbs...and if you taking about the loading phase of mono thats Bull as well.
