creatine in lucozade

now im not sure if its just lucozade that does this but its all ive tried

when i add them together, it froths like hell and becomes flat

ive read it doesnt do any harm to either the drink or the creatine, but just checking....

is it just reacting with the carbon in the drink? or is it just energy drinks in general?

Re: creatine in lucozade

its the same as dropping bicarb into vinegar... its a chemical reaction.

He he this takes me back..... Yeah I used to mix it in to lucozade and some other carbonated drinks, they all went flat so yeah its just a reaction. No biggy, it won't change the effectiveness of creatine.

Re: creatine in lucozade

I have always used creatine with glutamine in warm water and had great results...tastes mildly horrible but its "suffer to be beautiful" isnt it?

I first tried creatine with orange juice until my **** turned bright green and my kidneys felt like they had been kicked by a prop for 3 hours but since taking it with water I have no problems and I have been usint it for years.

Re: creatine in lucozade

The original study by prof. Greenhaff at Nottingham university on the effects of Creatine (5g) with glucose (94g) actually used a bottle of Lucozade so you will be fine.

You would be far better off taking your creatine with your PWO shake you will get the same insulin response and thus the same amount of creatine shuttled into your muscle cells.
