worth it?

im just starting out and have just about sorted the diet out and the training but imstill wondering about creatine i have used it before but was a knee jerk reaction when a few lads frm school were using it when i was 17. and waste of money i didnt use it regularly or correctly just took a scoop before gym lol

is it wort it or should i wait a few months before i look at it. im skint so dont want to waste te doh i have if its not proven to help me at all id rather leave it cheers guys

I've been using chewable creatine tabs for about 2 month's and have gained about 3 kg in weight. You can pick up 200 tabs for about 8 quid from any health store personally I'm happy with the result's and would recommend.

try myprotien or bulkpowders mate... you'll get more for you money if you just want mono creatine... coz thats all thats in muscletech hardcore...(hardly hardcore)... CEE is better but is a little pricy and taste abit pap!

ok you've just started hitting gym..yes... and your diet is sorted?? so you dont know if you want to add creatine to help you ....what????

slim down??? get bigger???

i'll take it you want to be bigger and stronger... creatine will work upto a point.. but needs to be cycled and if its mono needs to be taken with simple carbs to uptake properly... forget the preloading thats abit of cr@p....

you also need to up your water intake as well!...

if you dont have the cash.. then get your folks to buy you some steak.. as that has creatine in it!

cheers for the help mate, well my protien do cee or mono for a couple quid per 100g but how many times a day do i take it?

i train very early in the morning when im at uni and breakfast is usually oats and a shake then train and another shake after gym wit a bannana could i just take it before gym or is it everyday?

one i read says before gym other says 4 servings a day.

oh and yea im trying to get some good lean mass on me and increase my strength.

by simple carbs, atre they oats, taty, bannana?? this correct lol

im considering adding oats into my post work out shake if that helps

Oats aren't simple carbs mate, they are complex carbs.

PWO you need to be looking at Dextrose, Maltodextrin or Waxy Maize Starch. A lot of people find oats fine though - but these are by no means fast acting.

A protein shake and a couple of bananas might be ok to be honest. There is a guy where I train that just does that and he looks good for it!

have you tried using the search feature on this forum? Its great, answers most questions with out needing to post. There are a loads of posts on creatine on this board. When people take it, how people take it, whats better mono/cee etc etc.

Do a search, dont be lazy and you will find the answers you are looking for!

I just looked down the page - after all it is a creatine page and saw one by me - http://www.uk-muscle.co.uk/creatine/...-creatine.html

Best way and I think people even say amounts in it!
