Re: worth it?

It makes you retain water m8,making you look more bloated.Increases your strength too.But I tried it as good few years back and it didnt do anything for me..But m8 I think you are going in the wrong direction here...Yes,you seem really keen but you dont need to start taking creatine right away..Give your body a chance to get into your training then say after 6 months to a year then start to try creatine or the like...I think you are trying far too much for someone who has just recently started training....Im not knocking you at all m8,but you need to slow down and start to learn more about what you are doing and what it is you want...Best adivce IMO would be to leave the creatine and just eat, rest, and train well......

Re: worth it?

cheers guyfor all the advise , i think my diet is actually clean, and i have decisded to stop all alcohol intake since last week , i know not long but still its a start. the water retention is quite a big thing for me i certainly dont want to look bloated or it will demoralise me and i wont see improvment in the mirror as much i might try the CEE, but i take my next pics for my log next sunday so i might wait and see ow i get on in the pics after them so it will be like 3 weeks from not if there is no weight increase , or diffrence in the pics then i will consider buying it.

i really dnt want water retention tho lol

Re: worth it?

if it does make me retain water , is there any way of getting rid of it ? as im guessing it wont always stay there lol . is there anything i can do to try make sure i dont ? i figure drinking lots and lots of water will stop the body feeling the need to hold it??

I would be interested in knowing how you have measured this, did you just go by the scales or calipers and scales? 7lbs of solid muscle is a huge gaine from something like creating in such a short period of time do you have before and after pics??

Re: worth it?

Creatine for some1 eating a good diet with mixed sources of protein shouldnt really need to supplement their diet that much with creatine as you should get what you need from food but with the exception of maybe b4 or after a workout i personally just take about 5-10g after a workout as this is all you need in your bodies open window!

What you should be aiming for after a workout is around 30-40g protein, 50-60g fast acting carbs e.g maltodextrin (sp) or natural honey or something like that, and around 5-10g of creatine as this is what the human body uses for muscle building after a workout as said by prof, Greenhauf (sp) of Nottingham Uni

Hope this helps m8

It really annoys me post like this. I'm a newbie bodybuilder who incidentally reads a awful lot on the science of body building and from the research I have done, it seems that you can optimally put on just around 1lb of lean muscle tissue a month if all your training factors are optimal.

Half a stone of muscle in 4 months due to the effects of CEE sounds like a awful lot.

I'm sorry to sound carping. But I come to this forum for expert advise and I don't want to spend money on products that aren't going to do the job for me.

TBH i would replace the shake and a banana with a shake with something like protein/honey and creatine use around 5-10g of creatine and about 4-6 table spoons of honey with protein powder so you should be getting the required amount as i said b4!

I would then have a meal about an hour after you post workout shake!

As for taking too much creatine tbh i dont think it is really possible unless you have sh*t loads m8 and then it could possibly make you sick or dehydrated but you would need load for that so dont worry bout it too much, and tbh wouldn't do what it says on the tin as 9/10 it will tell you to load up on it 1st when this is a load of BS as you dnt need to they will just tell you this so they get you to use more!

again hope this helps if it does rep me (pmsl ) only joking m8 but hope it does help!!!!!

If you need any more questions answering just post them up m8
