500g thats 1/2kg sugar!

you only need ~100g. taking 100g sugar is not healthy however, so best way imo to replace half of it with protein: 50gprotein/50g simple carb after workout, this will get you the same insulin spike as 100g sugar.

#1 rule is you need to drink plenty of water (100ml/1mg) with it.
Also, according to some researches taking creatine BEFORE or DURING workout is a bad idea, they say it will cause loss of performance /!/ and in some cases fainting. The causes are not yet known.
