Holland & Barrett Creatine

Just bought a tub of body fortress creatine from h&b as it was a only a fiver. Looking at the nutritional values it state 32g of carbs of which 32 grams is sugar, I guess this is due to it being flavored (grape) I guessing this isn't good and I should be taking the unflavored stuff right?

Re: Holland & Barrett Creatine

the tub contains sugars in it then that will be fine as creatine mono needs simple sugars to help force the creatine into the muscles..... if you ever buy CEE, you dont need the sugars to help it!

PS ignore the loading phase...its aload of crap IMO!

hoe this helps

Re: Holland & Barrett Creatine

Why is the creatine questionable? I see no reason why it should not be ok. Far too much sugar in it though. £5 is a bargain.

Re: Holland & Barrett Creatine

Any recommendations for a creapure and who to buy it from?

Should I just bin the H&B creatine then if the quality is questionable?

Re: Holland & Barrett Creatine

just get a creapure product from one of the bulk guys

myprotein, bulkpowders et al

or reflex if your a fan of commercial

whats wrong with H and B creatine?....its not a creapure, the industry standard 'good one'

some questions were raised RE Dihydrotriazine and Dicyandiamide with the cheaper products, again i cannot comment further as my knowledge is not what it should be in this area but creapure will be a better choice to obviate such issues from everything published, commercially and anecdotally

again make of it what you wish

Have to agree the creatine will be fine but too many sugars.

Re: Holland & Barrett Creatine

the sugar will help the creatine, but it does seem to be a lot, id just buy some plain creatine or CEE (tabs cos it tastes like ass)

Re: Holland & Barrett Creatine

Im stupid, i use H&B stuff because there is a shop thats close to work and they are cheap. I tell every one else that if they have the money, to use sme ne else for vit&mins, like natures best or zipvit. I STILL go there lol

I got soem SNS CEE for a while and it seemed to make a noticeable difference, and it was cheap. Then i ran out, got some stuff from H&B and i didn't notice any difference at all. This has happened with a few supps from there. I still like their Super one tabs though.
